Polonezköy or in Polish Adampol - a little village at the asian side of Istanbul in Beykoz, about 30km away from Istanbul founded in 1881 by Polish settlers who did not like to return after the Crimean War or the Ottoman-Russian War, led by Jan Nowicki. They still have a very little community with polish type houses and a little wooden church.

Today it has a relaxing atmosphere for Turkish people, as a meeting place of couples during the week and a place for family excursion on weekends.

You may find the finest open air restaurants of Istanbul, some horse riding and fitness places and little zoological garden.
